A heartwarming reunion took place in Karachi as Kiran, a girl who disappeared from Islamabad 17 years ago, was finally reunited with her family.
Now 27, she was identified and handed over to her father after Safe City Punjab traced her history. Kiran recalled losing her way while going out to buy ice cream as a child before being taken to the Edhi Center.
She later moved to Karachi with Bilquis Edhi, receiving both religious and formal education. According to Shabana Faisal Edhi, Kiran is the fifth Karachi case where parents were successfully located.
