Pakistan and Turkiye have signed over $300 million worth of gas and mining agreements aimed at accelerating offshore exploration and expanding cooperation in energy sectors.

The deals, witnessed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, include new petroleum concessions and a 25% working-interest transfer of Indus Offshore Block-C to Turkish Petroleum.

Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said both countries aim to deepen collaboration to help reach their $5 billion bilateral trade target.

Pakistan also welcomed Turkish interest in upcoming DISCO privatisation plans. A Turkish Petroleum office will be established in Islamabad this month to advance joint projects.
