Pakistan and Tajikistan are moving toward a major agricultural partnership as Tajikistan plans to import 100,000 tons of meat from Pakistan in a deal worth over USD 50 million.

The plan was discussed in Islamabad between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research and Tajikistan’s ambassador.

Both sides aim to expand agricultural trade, improve export volumes, and collaborate on research, standards, and pest-free production zones. A formal agreement is expected soon to begin large-scale meat exports.
