According to an official notification, heavy traffic will not be allowed within city limits between 6am and 10pm to ease congestion and reduce road accidents. Authorities have also designated specific routes for essential movement.
Vehicles from the Super Highway will be diverted to the New Karachi Industrial Area, while traffic from the National Highway may head towards Godam and Yunus Chowrangi.
Additional routes include Dawood Chowrangi to Jam Sadiq Bridge and Northern Bypass towards Paracha Chowk and Siemens Chowrangi.
