Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah strongly condemned the Indian Defence Minister’s remarks, calling them diplomatically irresponsible. In a post on X, he stated that the Indian minister is unaware of history.
He reminded that Sindh separated from the Bombay Presidency in 1936—well before the creation of Pakistan—and its people have always valued their autonomy, dignity, and political identity. Murad Ali Shah advised Indian leaders to focus on their internal issues instead of “daydreaming” about Pakistan.
He reaffirmed that Sindh is an integral, inseparable, and permanent part of Pakistan: it was, it is, and it will always remain so.
