Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was honoured with Bahrain’s highest state award, the Order of Bahrain (First Class), presented by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during his official visit. The distinction is considered the top honour Bahrain grants to global leaders.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the long-standing partnership between Pakistan and Bahrain, appreciating the historical bond and ongoing cooperation. The prime minister thanked the Bahraini leadership for the warm welcome and acknowledged Bahrain’s commitment to peace, tolerance and coexistence.

King Hamad also highlighted a historic connection, noting that records show Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah once served as Bahrain’s legal representative, a fact the kingdom takes pride in.
