Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced a complete b@n on photography and video recording inside Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah.
The decision comes after concerns about crowding, disruptions during prayer times, and invasion of worshippers’ personal space caused by selfies, group photos, and videos.
Security personnel will enforce the rule to ensure a peaceful and focused environment. The b@n also extends to key locations along the Hajj route, aiming to maintain order and enhance the spiritual experience for all pilgrims.
